I'm just gonna go ahead and pretend that the guy failing at handling Rachel's assets in the start is Tobias learning to be human. :P

Totally agreed on the lasso rant, and that this should have been a two-parter. There was too much to cover in a half-hour show. And not only should Ax have taken all the cowboys down, but Tobias should have heard them all coming!

Also, why didn't the Yeerks turn Ax into a controller? Here they finally have a captured Andalite, and instead of quickly granting the control to the next in command to Visser Three, they stash him in a truck? I don't think they emphasized on how crucial it was to rescue Ax. Had they failed, it would have been a complete game changer... in the books anyway.
