Today on a completely separate roleplay community I ran into

felinephoenix and discovered that they also rp from Animorphs. Which got me wondering as to how many other Anicomm members roleplay from Animorphs, or have in the past!

So: tell us your Animorphs roleplay stories, guys. Maybe about the roleplay you're doing right now, maybe the ones you've done years and years ago. Or even just talk about some Animorphs roleplay that you'd like to do in the future! Whatever floats your boat. I'm sure that people have gotten up to plenty of interesting rp stuff, and I'd like to hear about it!

Their commentary was "cosplaying Animorphs?" Lol, it actually kind of works in that context...

And that got me to thinking...if you happened to look kinda like one of the kids, then partly-morphed WOULD be an awesome cosplay (instead of, you know, "some random kid from California that no one is going to get unless they're also a super-dedicated fan"). You could do darn near anything you wanted, since you wouldn't have to have a whole animal costume...

Hello everyone. My name is Sair and I am an Animorphs fan. I have been introduced to the awesome of the comm and I had a thought.

What if other people were like me? Who, when they love a series, they want to try and take a character they love and explore them? Write things about them and see just how they'll react to situations we never get to see? How they interact with people they've never had a chance to meet?

I do. And that is why I play Prince Elfangor-Sirinial-Shamtul. While the setting isn't too odd for him. After all, I'm sure a great many of us know how he's been through time and space due to the will of higher beings.

Though the being on the crew on a living ship is new.

That is the world of

trans_9! Where those across time, space, and dimensions are awaken on a strange living space on a mission! What mission? To survive and take out the alien race that destroyed their universes! And hope that maybe, just maybe, there may be a way to restore their universes again.

But there's more. Unlike other games, at Trans_9 the world of Animorphs is hardly an unknown. Not only was their a Yeerk infestation where the crew had to kill all the Yeerks before they managed to take over the brain of the good ship Stacy, causing all sorts of interesting twists and turns when a Yeerk arrives on the ship, it's one of the few games on LJ that has a Animorph cast that is steadily growing.

We already have Ax, Tobias, Loren, Elfangor, Marco, Tom/Iniss, and Karen/Aftran! And we may or may not be getting an Arbron and Rachel soon.

And all are quite wonderful players.

So if you're interested, we'd love to have you.

Hi there. I'm glad to see the Animorphs fandom is alive and thriving! I'm new to this group, and just started this journal as a possible part of an RP board I admin...I figure I'll try to get everyone who wants a blog to make one on the same site (right now it's between here and Xanga) and then we can all blog in character about the events on our site. Even if the rest of the characters choose a different site, I'll try to keep this blog updated as well, so you all can see what's going on in the RP. ^_^

So, now you know why my name is wolf_cassie. I play Cassie, obviously, as well as the Ellimist, should the need to use him arise. If you happen to be interested in the RP, let me know. This isn't an ad, but I figured I should explain what my blog is all about.

Now that I've done that, let me just say I LOVE Animorphs. My favourite character is Marco, followed by a tie between Cassie and Tobias. I've played all of them at some point, as well as Ax and David, on various sites.

So, last summer I was in an Exalted game. I played a Lunar, which are sort of like werewolves... kinda. They each have a totem animal that they can turn to at will, but they also can turn into other animals by ritualistically killing them and drinking their blood (kinda creepy, I know). Anyway, the lunar I played was named Hawk's Grace, and her totem animal was a red-tailed hawk, because, really, it was the first animal that came to mind. In fact, the second I was told what Lunars were, I was all like "Oooo I want to play one to be like Animorphs!"

She has red-tail patterning in her hair becuase each Lunar has a "tell" that lets you know who it is.

So…Considering the post below, I figure that at least some people might be interested in this:
Transmigration 9

This is a sci-fi, pan-fandom RPG that Animorphs characters would be great in. There’s plot to be had and alien worlds to visit and screaming, shouting, freaking out, and fighting to be done.

Reason one you might be interested: Wake up, complain about being covered in alien snot, save the ~~world~~ multiverse. The day needs to be saved, and the Animorphs are good at that sort of thing. Not to mention that the Yeerks are involved in this mess too.

Reason two: I play Ax, and he is lonely. Furthermore, he has already traumatized Xander Harris with his knowledge of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, very nearly gotten into fights with two separate super heroes, had an uncomfortable conversation with the Doctor, and made a tentative alliance with a psychic. Oh, and he nearly got eaten by giant cockroaches.

Grab your favorite character from your favorite time in the series and come check us out!

Template is a city, no different, no worse, nor better, than any other.

The problems surrounding it are the same as any other city, with care thrown to politics, poverty, crime, education, taxes, and the source of the city's income.

But the problems extend beyond that, in a city that unknowingly exists on three different levels, and has no history, only a future. The city verges on the edges of enlightenment and those who are left behind, destined to know nothing of the city's true turmoil. An enlightened citizen begins a new life, granted access to the second level of Template, the digital level.

The third is still a mystery, but its existence is ingrained into the very beings of the enlightened.

The enlightened are joined by others, pulled from their homes, bonded to the city. Marked and unmarked, confused, and forced to adjust to the city and the powers that be, the powers pulling the strings. What is the ultimate purpose?

Only Template knows.
