Yay, BCers! I have so few on my flist.

Only Cate Blanchett could make me love her completely ridiculous character in the new Indiana Jones movie. Well, that and swordfights on moving vehicles in the jungle.

Friending back! I should warn you, I go in and out of politics. Sometimes I have no idea what is going on except for the things that immediately affect me.

Enjoy my latest post on breasts. (I love that I hardly ever talk about my body/body image and my first post on that in... at least a year is just after commenting in a friending meme. Wtf, self? At least I spelled things properly and pretended to address societal implications.)

And Cate Blanchett is always so perfect. She's just... I don't know. Ethereal, yet very steely at the same time. Sort of gentleness and strength combined. I think she's such an archetype.

Haha - well, I blog more about my favorite colour of lipstick than I do about my favorite politicians. But I do love the whole political game and try to keep up with the news.

No I'm in Central B.C., though I'm 95% sure I'll be in Victoria in the fall. Occasionally I feel the need to insult the lower mainland due to regional issues, like when schools here close and millions get spent on fixing Stanley Park. (...old wounds.) But that's mostly in real life. And related to the government and media rather than the people. It's sort of like how everyone "hates" Toronto or the States. I do like visiting though. And the air quality in Vancouver is hilariously better than it is here. The pulp mills will kill us before the car exhaust will! (...wow, this is a lot of blathering.)
