I think this is the right book.

Rachel takes a trip to the beach, but this being ANimorphs, it turns weird. She loses an earring and morphs a starfish to get it. But she gets split in half and only later learns there's a problem: There are now TWO Rachels. Can the team figure out how to fix her while they work on taking out the Yeerks' anti-morphing ray?

Rachel is falling apart. Literally. Her newest morph has the ability to regenerate its limbs, but when Rachel demorphs, there's a whole lot more Rachel than when she started out. one more Rachel, to be exact. Rachel is an okay person to have around. But two could be considered overkill. Especially two Rachels with completely opposite personalities: One is pathetically weak, one is super strong and super nasty.

Now the Animorphs have to figure out a way to put Rachel back together again. Because if it's up to the 'twins', Rachel the weak will surrender to Visser Three. Rachel the super bold will try to single-handedly take him down. And twice the trouble may be twice as much as the other Animorphs and Ax can handle...

I remember somebody saying this particular book was badly executed. Discuss how it was. How could it have been done better?

For one more question, do you think a good point was made about needing both stregnth and brains to fight a war?

hmm for a prompt...double trouble

I hope you all know the rules by now.

Next week: Tobias gets in touch with his Andalite side
