(Sorry this is late guys, I've been away and my attempts to post this from my ipad just ended up being too much of a nightmare.)

There's been an accident.  Someone crash landed a Yeerk bug fighter.  And the Yeerks have been trying to cover it up, quickly. But not before Tobias spots it.  So the Animorphs and Ax decide to show the world that Earth has been invaded.

That's when things go terribly wrong. Before they know it, Jake, the other Animorphs and Ax find themselves in another place, another time. And there's no way home...

And so we're introduced to the Sario Rip concept.

I like how it shows that leaders can make mistakes, that the pressure can get to them. Also interesting and kind of funny was Ax admitting he got distracted by a game and a girl. Estrid maybe? He's a lot like human kids, which was probably the point of the thing.

Should the group have still done something at the end? Without repeating the thing that caused the rip, that is. I just wonder what they thought when Jake suddenly said "let's go home".

Why did only Jake recall the events of this rip while the whole group remembered the one in MM #2? It's confusing.

I love the Things I am Not Allowed To Do, Animorphs Style quote that i used last week. "A sario rip is not a hole in the Matrix"

Next week: The Reaction.

I'll put it up again since it's not up yet. This is the book about the Sario Rip. And now when I read it I always think of that humor post of ours a while back lol. "A Sario Rip is not a hole in the Matrix"

I think you remember the rules by now, about sticking to current or previous books, no time limit, try not to feel restricted too much in your posts, ect.

Does anyone have a good question or two for us to think about? It's my one weak point, I can never think of good ones.

This one could have some good writing prompts...a little Ax flashback...character thoughts in general on the sario rip...although it'd have to be during the rip since they forgot it afterward.
