I'm the only one who likes Golden Eagles? Come on now! They're so cool, David having one as a morph aside. And compared to Bald Eagles, much more awesome. Here's some food for thought...

Bald Eagles:
-Often eat carrion
-Often steal fish from osprey
-Mostly eat fish (sure, being able to catch it is impressive, but it's still relatively small game...)
-Was pitted against the turkey for national bird...the freaking turkey.

Golden Eagle:
-Mostly eats mammals
-Eats carrion occasionally, when prey is scarce
-Has been known to carry off small deer. That's right...friggin DEER!
-Sure, they weren't with Bald Eagles and Turkeys on the national bird nominees...but considering turkeys were on the list, it's not much to boast about anyway.


As for favorite Visser, good to see I'm in the vast majority who think Visser One is awesome! And I'm not just saying that because her host is the one who brought Marco into the world. Nope, has nothing to do with the adorableness that is Marco. Purely based on other stuff. Like the whole not wanting open war thing. Yeah, that's it.


Also, back to the bird morphs. You know what I always thought would be a perfect morph? Crows. American crows. They are friggin everywhere. Like literally. Unless it's just an eastern US thing. Now I'll have to double check my dang bird guide. I'm second guessing myself. But even if they aren't, do you think most people can tell a crow from a raven? Probably not. So, go crow! Or pigeons, maybe? Those would work too. Done babbling.
