Welcome to the First Animorphs Gift Exchange!

Do you write fanfic or create fanart? Do you like Animorphs? Then this is the exchange for you!

Everyone will give one gift, be it fanfic or fanart, that fits with one of three prompt words chosen by the recipient. Everyone will receive one gift, be it fanfic or fanart that fits with one of 3 prompt words they choose. Pairings and other details may be suggested, but givers are not required to adhere to requests beyond the prompts. The only guarantee participants get is that their gift will focus on one of their chosen prompts, though every effort will be made to ensure that everyone will be pleased with their gift.

Rules:

1) All work created for this exchange must be new, Animorphs-centric, and created with your recipient in mind, using one of the 3 prompt words chosen by your recipient. You may use 2 or all of the prompt words if you wish, but are only required to use one of them.
2) None of the work created may be posted anywhere until your posting day. Please do not reveal who your recipient is until then!
3) If you sign up for the exchange and DO NOT complete your assignment, you CANNOT participate next time around. If you find you will be unable to complete your assignment, PM me immediately so an alternate giver can be found.
4) Again, givers are only required to create a gift that fits with one of the prompts requested by the recipient; givers are not bound by other requests by the receiver. It is up to the giver to decide whether to gift fanfic or fanart.
5) Alternate Universes and/or Crossovers are allowed IF requested by the recipient, but not otherwise.
6)FanFic: 500 words minimum (may be divided into more than one story/multiple drabbles)
   FanArt: 5 icons minimum, OR 1 detailed drawing/sketch/wallpaper

For the gift I receive I would love to see fic/art: rachel/tobias, jake/cassie, any and all friendships, gen, all of the animorphs doing stuff & trying to be normal, angst, post-54, post-54 AU, before the war goes public, marco being cute & funny; graphics: stock photography, tumblr-esque graphics, serious quotes

I Can Create: Fanart!

Art: Access to images? I can send the final file as a wallpaper. Which mediums (icons, sketch, paint, etc.)? Digital painting. Species you prefer/refuse to illustrate? Prefer: Andalites! Refuse? None, really.

For the gift I receive I would love/hate to see -
Fic: I really like canon relationships and pairings. I don't get offended easily though, so any rating is fine by me. I really like Andalites and their Homeworld, love reading thoughts about their culture, heritage, lifestyle, ect. "Alternate endings" to the series are also neat, as well as "what happened after" stories.
Art: Andalites, battle scenes, morphs/morphing. My fav characters in order are: Ax, Jake, Cassie, Marco, Rachel, Tobias. Ax quotes would be cool (but not the ones related to food- I think they overdid that in the series! XD) I'm partial to canon pairings, so Cassie/Jake, Rachel/Tobias, maybe even Ax/Estrid (if Estrid turns out to be less of a jerk anyway).

Fic: I'll write anything, but I'm not great at comedic fics
Art: I can do gifsets/imagesets/icons. I can't draw.

For the gift I receive I would love/hate to see --
Fic: Any rating is fine. Any of this stuff: I like Rachel/Marco a lot (comedic, dark or both). I like Jake the leader/unsure of his leaderness. Friendships of the whole group especially 2somes that don't get much alone time in the books (Cassie/Tobias, Rachel/Ax). I like angst, humour or action. I prefer during the series, as opposed to post-54.
Art: Any/mixture of the main 6 are great (Especially Marco, Jake and Rachel. Or Marco/Rachel. I'm not a huge Tobias fan, but I like him and Ax together.). I like serious or funny quotes, or no quotes at all.

Fic: PG-13 to light R, most likely; Essam/Edriss/Hildy/Allison, Jordan, Aftran, Rachel/Marco, Jordan/Marco; AU stuff is very fun; I'm not very good at stuff that isn't somehow angst-related

Art: icons, tumblr graphics, wallpapers; would prefer stuff concerning the main 6, stuff from cover art, or stuff concerning quotations

Fic: I love, love, love Essam/Edriss/Hildy/Allison; also Rachel/Marco that could fit into canon; main 6 stuff is great too; AU stuff is awesome; post-54; a crossover with Stargate SG-1 would be amazing; I also have this AU idea in which Rachel is switched with Payson from Make It or Break It; Jordan/Marco; I'm not into Ax paired with anyone other than an Andalite and I'm not terribly interested in the Ellimist
Art: quote icons from A:TRDU; wallpapers of the main 6; stock photos are very okay; main 6 stuff in general is great

I Can Create --

Fic: Any rating. I will write for any of the main six, plus Loren, Aftran, Toby, Aldrea, and auxiliary Animorphs. The ships I will write are Rachel/Cassie, Cassie/Aftran, Rachel/Marco, and OT6, though really I mostly write gen character studies and friendships. I love writing stories that focus on worldbuilding and alien cultures. I also love AUs and crossovers; see my AO3 (http://archiveofourown.org/users/Poetry) for the crossover fandoms I'll write in.

For the gift I receive I would love/hate to see --

Fic: Any rating. I love fics that explore minor characters, like Illim/Tidwell or the Governor. I also like missing scenes that fit with canon, like the Animorphs all getting roaring drunk in the woods after the David fiasco, or Marco talking with his dad about what he had to/was willing to do to get Eva back. Mostly interested in gen fic, though fluffy OT6 is also heartwarming.
Art: I just really like introspection stuff, like Tobias considering his hawk/boy/Andalite nature, or quotes/rituals Ax likes from Andalite culture. Definitely have a love for Ax and Tobias art.

Fic only, gen/pg13 preferred although can possibly go higher for an F/F or F/M pairing. Willing to write Rachel/Marco, Rachel/Tobias, Rachel/Cassie, anything friendship-based between any of the 6 Animorphs. I'm not good at aliens (except maybe Ax).

For the gift I would like to receive:
Fic/Art: bro-friendship between Tobias and Ax, anything that deals with the Animorphs as they were before they received their powers, Rachel/Tobias, Marco/Rachel, gen/humour, anything introspective or angsty, anything that explores them trying to be normal (and/or failing) whether that's funny or sad. Art: Icons, fanmixes, wallpapers (1280 x 1024).

For the gift I receive I would NOT like to see:
Fic: Violence/gore, anything NC-17 that doesn't fit with my preferred pairings. Anything else is fair game, really.
Art: As above per fic. No banners or tumblr graphics.

Fic/Art: PLEASE NO SPOILERS PAST BOOK 20!
My favourite character is Jake, I like Jake/Cassie, Jake/Marco, Jake!gen and everybody!gen for fic, and also Tobias/Rachel and Rachel/Marco for art. I love any Jake books. I wouldn't mind Harry Potter crossovers (Jake/Cho Chang is a guilty pleasure of mine). General character study is lovely, small moments in between battles is too.
