Aiight, I know this has probably been asked a bunch of times, but oh well. :)

What's everyone's favorite FUNNY book?

I mean, each book has its fair share of humor, but some books are just funny all around.

My personal favorite is #12, The Reaction. Most of Rachel's books, to me, are funny, but #12 takes the cake. I absolutely DIE laughing every time I read the part where the reporter asks,

"Do you have any advice for people your age?"

And Rachel replies, "Um, yes. Don't fall into crocodile pits, and don't have the house fall down on you."

Oh man, that is good times. ^-^; It's not an exact quote, cuz my friend is currently borrowing my books, but it's close enough.

Haha, what do you guys think? ;)

My favorite funny parts are from the end saga, when

Marco has to go live in the woods, and he and Ax and Tobias end up having to do a lot of missions together. They are my favorite Animorphs, and a couple of books in a row had me cracking up. Marco, Tobias, and the tank; Marco, Tobias, and Ax's antics in Sacrimento; the "juvenile deliquents" trying to dognap Laurens dog in the supermarket. Pure gold.

Doesn't anyone remember the Andalite Toilet at Zone 91? That was classic. *Classic.* Especially the phone numbers and fake names...
I'm grinning just thinking of it...

That was totally the best bit ever in my memory.

I still remember reading it, and laughing hysterically.... then falling down the hall to go tell my parents what's so funny (falling because I'm laughing so hard), and then not being able to explain to my family why I'm hysterical (as I am hysterical) and then my family shaking their heads as they truely believed I went crazy....

*sighs and wipes a tear from her eye* Ahh, memories.

Heheh, from that book, I also like, "I'm Falling Girl's partner, Dropping Chick." (Cassie.)

14 had so many great lines. Man, I should so read them again.

Dang, that's the line I was going to say. I totally had dibs on that.

I have a strange assortment of pets, including two hens; one day after cleaning up after them I looked down at my clothes and said, "Oh my God, I've turned into Cassie. I am Dropping Chick."

The double-meaning in that... priceless.

Yes. But if only someone had warned me I was going to morph into one of the Animorphs...! *sigh*

Don't you remember the werid generic yeerk things wanting to buy memories and then Cassi said they sounded like Fran Fine from the Nanny and Marco said Rachel was with her people with the shoppers guild, now that was funny.

*nods enthusiastically* I was thinking of that a few days ago... Ax is so cute when he's clueless.

I wonder if he ever watch THAT on his TV...

I forget what book it was in, but the one where they had the conversation about squid. That was freaking hilarious. Also, anything to do with Ax is just priceless.

Aww. Is there no love for #17? I always thought that was hilarious.

"It's oat-FREAKING-meal!"

And the conversation outside the mental hospital...hee.

I think I've gotta go with #14 as well. I mean, how can you not love this one?

<I will protect your butt from snake bite, Marco.> I <3 Tobias. =)

And 28 was good, humor-wise. Overall, I guess it wasn't such a great book, but it was pretty funny.

Crap, I messed up the quote. Anyway, here it is:

[I promise I will protect your butt from snake bite, Marco.]

That makes me giggle every time I read it. Ooh, and that fight at The Gardens with the Army guys chasing down Marco and Cassie, and then with all the people dressed up as Looney Tunes, and Marco using Ax's snake morph as a whip (don't ask me why, but it made me laugh).

And, of course, Andalite toilets.

Actually, I take it back -- 14 is definitely the best funny book. 28 had a lot of good moments but 14 still gets me laughing.

What if I where to tell you that the story of the Animorphs is not far from reality. Where forces of good and evil collide in bitter struggle to the death. And what if I were to tell you that there is more than meets the eye in this world? Whether you believe it or not it is true. The intangible spiritual world is where this battle exists and where I and others fight. A fight against the evil one who once was called lucifer. Do you wish to know more?

Hmm. . .I love the oatmeal lines in 17, and most of the stuff in 14, but one of my real favourites is in #10 with Marco and Jake. "Topic: the use of rhetoric to obscure a lack of content."

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Ax and the sticky buns...and efforts to obtain them. It should be commended for all time.(:

I agree. Rachel's books are the funniest. Marco tries to be funny, but Rachel has him beat. My favorite quote is from #42: The Journey

I'm not much of a sightseer. Generally, sightseeing puts me in a tedium-induced rage. (What interesting wording)
This was different.
I was happy to be a tourist, especially if it would keep me from going cannibal. Besides, how many suburban girls get to travel down a human vein as a tiny hammerhead shark?
Disney has nothing on the Animorphs.

I also love #12: The Reaction, that's one of my all-time favorites.
