Now this guy had a lot of complications all the way through...mostly it was the "my mom is Visser One" stuff, but then toward the end there was the whole love triangle thing. I wish they had explored it more in the last book.
I do like how he always coped with humor...even if not all the jokes were funny lol

Date: 2010-09-14 12:49 am (UTC)Honestly, I really like Cassie. Probably because she's the one I'm most similar to, har. I'm such a damn dirty hippie it's ridiculous, and I love that there IS someone who considers the big ethical issues and shit. And is always trying to be better than the people they fight.
(That and... x3 When I was a kid, I thought her morphing talent was the coolest thing EVER. And wanted it. Almost as much as I wanted to be able to morph in the first place. WHAT AN AMAZINGLY COOL FORM OF ART. HFOMGHGOMG.)
:< And to anyone who says she's weak, I say, "Fine, YOU turn into a wolf and fight an eight-foot weed-whacker with blades out its ass, AND WIN. Yeah. I didn't think so."

Date: 2010-09-14 03:20 am (UTC)I mean, of course she's got her stupid moments, but I think she's a very realistic depiction of a teenage girl trying to reconcile her emotions and beliefs with what's required of her.
But we'll save this for the Cassie thread!
