Now this guy had a lot of complications all the way through...mostly it was the "my mom is Visser One" stuff, but then toward the end there was the whole love triangle thing. I wish they had explored it more in the last book.
I do like how he always coped with humor...even if not all the jokes were funny lol

clearly what should have happened is that Nora was saved and that she Peter and Eva live in a happy threesome for the rest of their lives /IS SHOTHee, I don't think Rachel/Marco impossible. Just that if you take the canon reading, it's not really there so much later on.

Date: 2010-10-04 05:33 am (UTC)I think what happened is that at the beginning, Rachel and Marco both admired each other because they had their ruthlessness in common. But Marco also values rationality, reason...Rachel lost that at the end.
Maybe I am remembering wrong, but I thought in the last book we learn that Marco surrounds himself with blonde models (alluded to look like Rachel) after the war. That is kind of tragic.
