SO, in Bio, we're studying ethology. My professor is big on nature and animals, and she has a lot of pictures of animals from her walks through the woods.
So she flashes to a picture of a red-tailed hawk.
"What is this animal doing?"
"Saving the world from yeerks!"
People give me weird looks, so I say, "I mean, looking for food."
Then, a slide later, there's a freaking video of a grizzly bear with her cubs. One waddles around, and I am confident that it's Marco, because he would totally walk like that. I think Rachel and the others had some mission in Alaska and were disguised as a grizzly momma and cubs, because there is no other way to explain this.
If I fail Bio because all I did was come up with Animorph explanations for animal behavior, I will blame you guys.

You are awesome.
Lately, any time something involving animals comes up I start rambling about Animorphs. My friend has two inflatable whales for his pool. I named one Cassie because it has girly eyes and looks very Cassie-like. I named the other Jake 'cause it looked all serious and Jakelike. and every time I see a bird of prey I yell "TOBIAS!" even though I can't see well enough to know what kind of bird it is...
I wonder, though, if it is possible to morph a young animal? They've never morphed specifically puppies or a maggot (not that they'd want to morph a maggot)...
To add to the list of times they morphed animal mothers... Tobias acquires and kills a rabbit, then morphs her to take care of the babies. #23 The Pretender.
SNU.

...Yes, this was a college group.
But yeah, you'd've totally been my class buddy for that.

Awesome post. You made me happy XD
I wish I'd had biology with another Animorphs fan because I totally had similar issues (I have issues like that in a lot of classes, actually, but that's beside the point) and I'd have loved to have someone actually GET all my random screaming XD
