Species discussion Iskoort

A species comprised of a symbiotic relationship between a Yeerk (called a Yoort here) and another organism, an Isk. They have slightly different forms for different classes and most belong to various guilds on their homeworld. They're somewhat hyper at times and sometimes downright strange.

I wish this had been explored a bit more in context with the Yeerks. The Ellimist indicated that the Yeerks would discover this group later...which makes me wonder if they were true Yeerks or a parallel thing. Probably the latter if the Yeerks only discover them later on.

Anyone think other types of controllers could alter themselves somehow to become symbiotic, if the ability was there?

One of these days, I'm going to draw a picture of these guys. I can visualize it in my head well.
