Clearly morphing secretly all gives them weird blood colours! Or the Ellimist did it.
...Also I have to admit that the idea of a 'godly hoodie' is incredibly amusing XD I imagine Marco in particular would get a kick out of them. But yes, if their godhood determines powers, does that mean Jake has Heart powers IS HE MA-TI? and Tobias can warp time or something, etc etc?
Seeing as I can't read Homestuck anyways, I don't really mind spoilers.
