animorphsljI just reread this one (I've been on a rereading kick) and I was confused as to why Rachel hadn't morphed to get rid of her crippled form. The only thing I could think of is to prevent her from becoming a host body, but I feel like she could have escaped anyway, with the headstart and the morphing power.
