Lulz, I usually imagine them a HELL of a lot more serious than this - I just couldn't stand it anymore after writing such emo ficlets the other day. D: THEY NEED SOME LOVES AND HAPPY, DAMMIT.
But yeah. In my head at least, Mertil's the calm, more optimistic and supportive one. Gafinilan needs someone to balance out his DEATH, DOOM, DUTY, HONOR... gwumpiness. <3
