Hmmm...I always thought it was pretty significant that Ax told them that, BTW, it wasn't just the fate of humans that was riding on their shoulders, but the fate of everything on Earth. (Oh, and it the Yeerks manage to take Earth, they'll be pretty much unstoppable.)
