You know, if Independence Day came out now I'd probably hate it. The US-centrism, the non-sensical behavior of the aliens, the fact that that's not really how computer viruses work, guys. I might enjoy it initially, but then I'd read people complaining about it on the internet and realize: "Whoa, that movie was kind of stupid, wasn't it?" I don't know if that's more because I've gotten older or because the world has changed. Both, I guess. Action hero Will Smith is pretty much always a good thing, though.
